At the rear of the village hall, separate from hall users, is a large kitchen with ample room to prepare, cook, and serve food and drink for your guests.
In the kitchen, you will find 2 microwaves, a double electric oven and hob, a refrigerator, and a kitchen sink with a double drainer and washbasin beside it.
Although hot water is not provided at the tap, there is a water heater above the sink, meaning washing up is still possible with hot water – whilst admiring the countryside views.
There is plenty of cupboard space to store all of your preparation utensils, bags and any other personal items you wish to keep stored out of sight.
A serving hatch and counter can be utilised if you are serving food and drink to your guests; this is accessed from the hall area away from the hall itself. This means that people can come and go without having to enter the kitchen.
With safety in mind, there are fire extinguishers around the building and a fire blanket within easy reach.
A first aid kit is also supplied within the kitchen.
Please note that you are required to take all of your own rubbish home with you. Whitwell Village Hall cannot dispose of your rubbish for you.
